Vision 2020

vision2020-homepage

As the year 2015 is fast approaching, God has been speaking to me concerning the future of our organization specifically the next five years. As we all know, our organization nationally(not just here in Oklahoma) is aging and our greatest need is ministers who will dream
but carry on with the founding fathers’ visions of this organization. Dreams that support the visions like: to have an organization that proclaims Bible truth in Pentecostal power in order to exalt the Lord, edify the Church, and evangelize the world; of local pastors who desire to reach the community and build the Kingdom with a strong and vibrant church. I believe the NEXT five years are crucial in keeping those visions alive. Thus, I believe God has given me a vision which has been simply named “ ” for multiple reasons.

Reason 1 –

It keeps us focus on the purpose of the vision. The purpose of is to
invest more time, effort, and money in the development of our student and their leaders over the
next five years that will empower OUR[Oklahoma District Pentecostal Church of God]
TOMORROW. Listed below are priorities to reach our vision:

  1. Children’s Ministry – with the help of our Specialized Ministry Director will begin in 2015 focusing on this area as priority. My desire is to provide resources for the local church to do children ministry or help enhance that which is already in place. We will also provide BIG District events focused on children. My goal is to continue giving your child the best experience ever at campimpact(church camp).
  2. Youth Ministry – with the help of our ISM Team we will continue to strive to be on the cutting edge of youth ministry while maintaining our strong Pentecostal beliefs. My desire is to provide resources for the local church to do youth ministry or help enhance that which is already in place. It is my desire to continue to developing young leaders by offering mission trips and membership to our ISM Team as seniors in high school. My goal is to continue giving your child the best experience ever at campimpact(church camp).
  3. College and Career – with the help of our Specialized Ministry Director will begin in 2015 focusing keeping your students connected to your church as well as our organization. My desire is to help create College and Career Ministry within the local body as well as the district. This group is becoming our largest pool of students in our local and district body. My goal is to provide events just for them and a PLACE to belong.
  4. Leader Development – My goal is to provide more resources and helps for our local children and youth pastors/leaders as in ministry kits, connection events/retreats, and development opportunities. I will continue establishing NextGen Conferences as events that provide relevant tools for ministering to multiple generations. Impact Oklahoma challenge – giving to empower tomorrow
